The creative spirit behind the company is Lisa Manning-Smith, a life-long New Englander and member of the National Association of Professional Women, who has resided throughout the north shore area and southern New Hampshire.
We are a green company.
To help protect our environment, we mostly sell strictly off the internet with down-loadable patterns. On June 21, 2011, we started to offer our patterns as mail order as well within the US and Canada. Any products that we print to ship are
printed on recycled paper. Also, we started selling many beautiful finished products located in our Hand Crafted Gifts Store. In September 2011, we started selling some of our more popular patterns to purchase as kits!
New in 2012: We just opened a store on Etsy! More items will be on it the future. Check it out!
Thank you for choosing New England Classic Stitch for your hours
of needlework enjoyment!
Company History
Since February 2010, we’ve created distinctive designs for our needlework
patterns through photography, graphic and fine art. All designs are original with some designs
being very unique to our company. We are also very proud of both our Victorian
and Ambitious collection of designs which are from classic masterpieces that
were first created 100 or more years ago with watercolors or oil on canvas from
some of the world’s great artists.
With the classic pieces aside, all patterns have been created
using the photography or artwork from artists from New England. New Englanders are proud of our heritage and
crafts. Drive through any large city or
small town throughout the region to get a better understanding of our creative
passions.
